Information Services Division

The Information Services Division assists in the daily operations of city divisions by providing for the information technology needs of many of the city's mission-critical systems. The division, along with the Telecommunications Division, enhances city-wide communication through its support of the city's wide area network (metronet) and multiple local area networks.

Telecommunications Division

The Telecommunications Division is comprised of two component parts: the cable fund and a general fund portion. The city's government television channel (GTC-3), public and educational access programming, interconnect and telecommunications administration are supported by the cable fund. The general fund section of telecommunications is home to the city telephone operators.
